The agency opened for business in January of 1987 as Burgess, Brewer, Stanyon & Payne, Inc. From the beginning, the agency has been managed and staffed by talented professionals with experience not only in Maine, but also in larger markets across the country and around the world: Washington DC, Boston, New York, Silicon Valley, New Orleans, Australia and New Zealand.
