A Colossal Colon, An Aircraft Hangar Party and A Couple of Extreme Makeovers
Win Portland Based Agency Golden Arrow Awards
(Portland, ME) - A comedian hosting a tour of an interactive model of the human colon, a Florida and Maryland themed party held in an aircraft Hangar in Maine, and extreme web makeovers for a 75 year old theatrical institution and an oil delivery business, were the catalysts behind Burgess Advertising last night receiving four awards at the 16th annual Golden Arrow Awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport, Maine.
The Golden Arrows organized by the Maine Public Relation’s Council provide a forum for exhibiting exemplary work from Maine’s public relations practitioners, promote public recognition of the high quality of communications produced in Maine, and gain corporate and client recognition for top quality PR efforts. This year the Public Relations Guild of America’s Richmond, Virginia, chapter judged the awards.
Gold and Silver awards are presented in a variety of categories, ranging from materials design to comprehensive communications campaigns.
Judy Katzel, President of Burgess Advertising, said although the agency was thrilled to have its work recognized and honored by its peers, it was more rewarding to know the winning campaigns had also been hugely successful for the clients.
Burgess received the following awards presented by WMTV anchor Tory Ryden.
