Burgess Flying High With New England Air Transport

Portland, ME - New England Air Transport (NEAT) which in August will begin offering a regular service between Frenchville and Presque Isle in northern Maine, and Portland, has chosen Burgess Advertising and Marketing as its agency of record.

NEAT president and Founder David Fernald Sr. said he had chosen Burgess after interviewing several agencies because he was impressed with the agency’s creativity, hands on approach and understanding of Maine.

“Of course I couldn’t overlook the great work they have done for Portland International Jetport over the last year which has helped the airport grow its business while the majority of other airports around the country are losing business,” he said.

Fernald, together with his son and NEAT pilot David Fernald Jr., and Fort Kent businessman James Thibodeau, are planning to introduce two return flights a day between northern Maine and Portland on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Judy Katzel, President of Burgess Advertising and Marketing said the agency was thrilled to have another client providing air transport to Mainers.

“Our work with Portland International Jetport as well as with AirTran Airways and Jet Blue has been rewarding and successful and we look forward to similar success for NEAT,” she said.
