Burgess Recognized for its Healthcare Marketing
Providence, Rhode Island - May 7 - Burgess Advertising & Marketing continued to show it is one of the premier health marketing companies in New England by winning five "Lamplighter Awards" at the New England Society for Healthcare Communications’ Annual Spring Conference held in Providence, Rhode Island.
The “Lamplighter Awards” are presented each year in recognition of excellence in a variety of marketing, communications, and public relations areas, including publications, audio-visual presentations, and excellence in writing, marketing, and advertising. All entrants are judged by a panel of recognized professionals, typically from outside of the New England region, and projects are evaluated based upon their quality and achievement of desired results.
Burgess won:
- Gold in the radio advertising category for it "Express Care Blues" radio commercial for client Mercy Hospital
- Gold in the potpourri category which recognizes general health marketing for its "License to Cure Specialty License Plate Initiative" for client Maine cancer Foundation
- Silver in the publications category for its "Birthplace Brochure" entry for client Mercy Hospital
- Award of Excellence in the television advertising category for its "Birthplace Television" entry for client Mercy Hospital
- Award of Excellence in logo design category for its "New England Foot and Ankle Specialists Logo" entry
