Since 2000, Lori has brought a wide range of expertise to her oversight of all finances and benefits at Burgess. Since beginning her career as an accountant with an ad specialty firm in Boston, she has managed the financial, human resources and general office functions in fields as diverse as highway sign fabrication and insurance claims. She is also a proud six-time participant in the Maine Cancer Foundation's Tri for a Cure, and has completed the Trek Across Maine and Dempsey Challenge distance biking events.
One of the co-founders of Burgess, Brewer, Stanyon and Payne, Oliver came to Maine in 1986 with a decade of experience in New York City, managing some of America’s best known brands, from Noxzema Skin Cream to Skippy Peanut Butter, Hellmann’s/Best Foods Mayonnaise and Mazola Oil. He brings to each client assignment a disciplined and inspired approach to creating effective advertising campaigns grounded in sharp, research-based strategies. He is adept at integrating themes and strategies across multiple media, on behalf of clients such as MEMIC, MeHAF/enroll207.com, saveyourpipes.org, Efficiency Maine and multiple banks and insurance agencies.
The most experienced Media Director in the Maine market, Betty has worked with hundreds of clients—both consumer and B2B, on the local, regional, and national levels—over 30+ years. She possesses strong negotiating skills, loves research and numbers, and has an excellent working relationship with the media, bringing to each Burgess client maximum purchasing power and ideal ad placement. Virtually all our clients also benefit from her expertise in the ever-evolving digital media landscape (mobile, search, and pay-per-click).
Haley joined Burgess after returning to her home state of Maine this summer, following five successful years at MYMOVE, which was recently acquired and is relocating from Massachusetts to South Carolina. MYMOVE (formerly Imagitas) has an exclusive relationship with the USPS to market to consumers that are moving. Haley rose steadily from Account Associate to Account Manager and, most recently, Senior Account Manager, taking on a growing role for strategic direction and program evaluation. Her portfolio of national brands, such as Lowe’s, Comcast, Amazon and Kohl’s, achieved up to 80% annual growth. Prior to her time at MYMOVE, Haley coordinated interviews for the Harvard Medical School Office of Admissions. She has a BA in Business, Organizations and Society, with a minor in Psychology, from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
Dana oversees website development and digital marketing campaigns for the Agency and its clients, including enroll207.com, MaineHousing, ITS, Chalmers Insurance Group and others. Her goal is to develop digital strategies that are fully integrated with broader marketing plans to yield measurable results for Burgess clients. Before joining Burgess, she was a Digital Project Manager at American Standard in New Jersey where she managed a full range of digital services for this 150 year-old brand: web design and development, content creation and scheduling, SEO, analytics, and email campaigns. A graduate of Kean University, Dana now lives in Casco, and enjoys kayaking and hiking.
Christina contributes fresh and effective design solutions for virtually all Burgess clients, including MeHAF/enroll207.com, E.J. Prescott, Chalmers Insurance Group and Hospice of Southern Maine. She is a 2014 graduate of the Maine College of Art, with a BA in Fine Arts, majoring in Graphic Design. While in college, she also freelanced for organizations throughout Maine, and developed a good eye, strong organizational skills, and an ability to explore a range of concepts for each project.
Since 2007, Rachel has maintained the agency's excellent reputation among vendors for timely communication and payment; and among clients, for clear and accurate invoicing. Before joining Burgess, Rachel had an extensive background in accounting and bookkeeping.
Keva's skills in online marketing and other disciplines are indispensable to maintaining websites and executing digital campaigns for the agency and our clients. She was previously the Office Manager/Event Coordinator at a B2B event company in South Portland, which included responsibilities as the sales and marketing assistant.
