Efficiency Maine Burgess developed this campaign to boost statewide recognition of Efficiency Maine and tout the benefits of using compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs) in place of traditional incandescent bulbs. The two-spot series featured an environmentally-friendly animated CFL triumphing over a tired and falling-out-of-favor animated incandescent in a war of words regarding carbon emissions, longevity, bulb recycling and electrical savings. Burgess also posted the spots on YouTube for added, no-cost exposure.
