Catholic Charities Maine wanted a contemporary logo that would distinguish them from the national organization as well as other social service agencies. The new logo represents the helping hand CCM offers to those in need, the caring staff and volunteers, and the generosity of spirit shown by their thousands of donors, year after year.
When Digital Research, Inc. launched a new service—online community research panels—it wanted to present a fresh, forward-thinking brand and chose a name that, just like the communities it creates, would get people talking. "Waggle" as the service is affectionately called gave Burgess a great jumping off point for creating a logo just as fun and memorable as its name.
MaineHousing turned to Burgess for an eye-catching logo to distinguish their "Gift of Green" grant/home energy audit program for first-time home buyers.
This North Conway, NH hospital engaged Burgess to help align numerous distinct brands—including the hospital and three physician practices that had operated under separate identities—under one unified umbrella. A brand audit revealed significant equity in the existing hospital logo, featuring the lone pine tree. Burgess updated the graphic and colors to a more contemporary look, and created a brand hierarchy to help convey the breadth of services Memorial offers.
